Running the 2018 Chicago Marathon

Having missed auto-qualification by 2 minutes at the NYC Marathon I decided to enter the lottery. What did I have to lose? Come selection day I’d seen a flurry of social media posts, with people having received their confirmation emails. Nothing had come through to me by midday, until it did! Thank you Chicago Marathon for selecting me.

A new journey begins. Back to work, with many training runs, miles and studio sessions. I cannot wait to tackle the streets of Chicago.
